SONOMA COAST 7.10-12.15

If you read this blog, then you know how much we love the central coast of California. Nothing is more relaxing. So, of course, we headed to the Sonoma Coast with Cooper to take in a little R&R.

Surprisingly, as often as we've traveled the coast, we still find something new. This time, we found a new campsite with overflow sites that include tables and fire pits. We loved it so much the first night, we stayed their the second night. Wrights Beach campground between Bodega Bay and Jenner, CA does have reserved sites right on the beach. Totally worth getting early reservations for those sites. You can also take about a 5 mile plus hike (or bike, or run) from the trail at the top of the campsite. Final word on this...great find. Definitely keeping it on the list.

On our way home we played in Petaluma, Ca. Enjoyed the art and garden festival and street fair while also enjoying a little antiquing and decent mexican food. By the end of the evening, having had a shower and a glass of wine/beer, we were already planning on how to buy a vacation home with ocean views. Dare to dream.

Sometimes, it's a little hard to get back into the swing of things after such a relaxing weekend, but we already have the next weekend location mapped, so with something to look forward to, we will be working hard for the weekend.

Until then...
